College of Industrial Engineering
The college operates in modernly equipped lecture halls, computer classrooms, and laboratories.
In cooperation with regional research and development centers and industries that possess specialized research equipment, the college ensures high-quality execution of specialized exercises, practical training, and the development of innovative thesis projects.
The founder of the College of Industrial Engineering is the public institution Regional Study Center, responsible for the development of higher education in the Savinja (statistical) region.
Deluje v sodobno opremljenih predavalnicah, računalniških učilnicah in laboratorijih.
V sodelovanju z razvojno – raziskovalnimi centri v regiji in gospodarstvom, ki posedujejo specialno raziskovalno opremo, je zagotovljeno kakovostno izvajanje specialnih vaj, praktičnega usposabljanja in izdelava inovativnih diplomskih nalog.
Ustanovitelj Visoke šole za proizvodno inženirstvo je javni zavod Regijsko študijsko središče, pristojen za razvoj visokega šolstva v Savinjski (statistični) regiji.
Brief History
The college was established based on the decision of the Council of the Republic of Slovenia for Higher Education (decision no. 1/6-2005), and the study program Modern Production Engineering was accredited on 26 February 2010 (decision no. 6033-226/2009/9).
In 2013, the National Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Quality in Higher Education extended the college’s accreditation for seven years (decision 0141-19/2013/14 of 13 June 2013).
At the end of 2017, the Council of the National Agency for Quality in Higher Education extended the accreditation of the professional higher education study program Modern Production Engineering indefinitely (decision 6034-100-2016/21).
In 2020, the National Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Quality in Higher Education extended the College of Production Engineering’s accreditation for five years, confirming the strategic directions of the college toward flexible operations and close collaboration with the economy.
