Vision and Mission

In shaping our vision and mission, we focused on strategic issues that reflect the College of Industrial Engineering’s relationship with both its immediate and broader environment.

Vision

The College of Industrial Engineering aims to be recognized for professional excellence and quality in the field of production and sustainable engineering, conducting research, professional work, and study programs that are as closely aligned as possible with the needs of the economy. Our graduates will be valued in practice and highly employable. The college will also foster the development of its academic staff.

Mission

The College of Industrial Engineering is an independent higher education institution whose mission is to:

  • implement and develop high-quality study programs in technical sciences that address current and future employer needs,
  • provide highly qualified professionals in technical sciences for the region and the wider Slovenian area,
  • conduct applied research in the field of technical sciences,
  • contribute to the faster development of the region, particularly by enhancing the competitiveness of the economy,
  • promote the development of the technical profession, especially in the area of applied knowledge,
  • encourage mobility of students, academic staff, and collaborators and foster international cooperation,
  • organize and deliver effective lifelong learning in line with the needs and development plans of companies,
  • indirectly contribute to sustainable development, a cleaner environment, and societal well-being through its activities.
